I don't understand... In Settings->Preferences->Modes/Bands you can choose
to use an editbox or an optionmenu. Even if one uses optionmenu, like I
do, one has to specify a comma separated list of modes. Thus, xlog can
support any mode. I use the latest version, 1.2.2, but I think this
feature has been available for quite long time.
