Might want to change the "font rendering/render" to "font rendering / RENDER " in 2.5 - that was what I meant by that, anyway.
I find things like AA fonts really badly bog all the systems I work on. I recently found that displaying a kernel compile in an xterm instead of gnome-terminal actually reduced the build time by 40% on my 1.5GHz (1800+) Athlon. That was with NVidia's drivers, but I've seen similar performance problems on other machines with other graphics hardware.
WRT to FAQ section 2.4, I'd suggest at linking to http://www.ltsp.org/ as an excellent example of just how handy network transparent X is. Maybe mention that it provides cross-platform graphics as well. While it's hard to list all the nice things X does (and a quick google search turns up quite enough /not/ nice things), a few examples might help quiet people down a little.
