(Unfortunately the version numbers are only updated on releases.) If it was the developer release, please try the latest git commit, to see if that still has the same problem. I added a test in configure to output a better error message if this is the case. Seems to work well on my system (tested with pkg-config installed/de-installed). Attached patch puts each item of the "Options" menu in it's own @subsection and formats the description of each item as a @table as neccessary. This way, xboard builds again and the manual doesn't look too bad. _______________________________________________________ File Attachments: ------------------------------------------------------- Date: Sun 24 Feb 2013 04:34:43 PM GMT Name: patch-xboard.texi Size: 22kB By: cmt _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/ From MAILER-DAEMON Sun Feb 24 12:39:59 2013 Received: from list by lists.gnu.org with archive (Exim 4.71) id 1U9fYN-0002Xe-1G for mharc-bug-xboard@gnu.org; Sun, 24 Feb 2013 12:39:59 -0500 Received: from eggs.gnu.org ([208.118.235.92]:37162) by lists.gnu.org with esmtp (Exim 4.71) (envelope-from ) id 1U9fYE-0002Vl-PK for bug-xboard@gnu.org; Sun, 24 Feb 2013 12:39:57 -0500 Received: from Debian-exim by eggs.gnu.org with spam-scanned (Exim 4.71) (envelope-from ) id 1U9fYD-0004VI-2D for bug-xboard@gnu.org; Sun, 24 Feb 2013 12:39:50 -0500 Received: from savannah.gnu.org ([140.186.70.70]:40858 helo=frontend.savannah.gnu.org) by eggs.gnu.org with esmtp (Exim 4.71) (envelope-from ) id 1U9fYC-0004V6-Ur for bug-xboard@gnu.org; Sun, 24 Feb 2013 12:39:48 -0500 Received: from www-data by frontend.savannah.gnu.org with local (Exim 4.72) (envelope-from ) id 1U9fYA-0006Zm-U9; Sun, 24 Feb 2013 17:39:46 +0000 Date: Sun, 24 Feb 2013 17:39:46 +0000 To: Arun Persaud , Christoph Moench-Tegeder , bug-xboard@gnu.org X-PHP-Originating-Script: 0:sendmail.php From: Arun Persaud X-Savane-Server: savannah.gnu.org:443 [140.186.70.70] MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain;charset=UTF-8 X-Savane-Project: xboard X-Savane-Tracker: bugs X-Savane-Item-ID: 38401 User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:19.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/19.0 X-Apparently-From: 69.109.118.164 (Savane authenticated user apersaud) Message-Id: <20130224-093946.sv72179.28466@savannah.gnu.org> References: <20130224-163443.sv90643.31159@savannah.gnu.org> In-Reply-To: <20130224-163443.sv90643.31159@savannah.gnu.org> X-detected-operating-system: by eggs.gnu.org: GNU/Linux 2.6.x X-Received-From: 140.186.70.70 Subject: [Bug-XBoard] [bug #38401] xboard.texi has errors, build breaks with texinfo-5.0 X-BeenThere: bug-xboard@gnu.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.14 Precedence: list List-Id: XBoard and WinBoard bugs List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Sun, 24 Feb 2013 17:39:57 -0000 Update of bug #38401 (project xboard): Status: None => Fixed Assigned to: None => apersaud Open/Closed: Open => Closed _______________________________________________________ Follow-up Comment #1: Thanks for the patch... applied to master _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
