Then, I cancel it. I would expect that the client stops downloading any data about this file but it doesn't. The download rate stays at 64kb/s, probably until the chunk has been fully downloaded. Moreover, just after the cancelation, the temp file is removed (normal behaviour). But it gets recreated later. I suppose this is connected to the previous problem. If the client still downloads data about a canceled file, I suppose it tries to write them somewhere, recreating the temp file somehow. At same time connection to Gnutella network is performed. Unluckily, query routing table (that is highly important for Gnutella network) is sent only once upon connection. Solution: Send query routing table when there are new files appeared in library (probably on PING/PONG messages is enough) P.S. I can't connect with LimeWare plugin to specified address (in limeware.ini) - i have error "Server.server_connect not implemented by LimeWire" when i'm pressing "connect" for specified IP. P.S.S. LimeWare plugin doesn't send hashes in reply to searches and all files served by mldonkey is counted as spam ones in Shareaza (and probably other clients) No Followups Have Been Posted CC list is empty No files currently attached For detailed info, follow this link: http://savannah.nongnu.org/bugs/?func=detailbug&bug_id=3135&group_id=1409 From MAILER-DAEMON Tue Apr 08 01:43:25 2003 Received: from list by monty-python.gnu.org with archive (Exim 4.10.13) id 192ltD-0004VC-00 for mharc-mldonkey-bugs@gnu.org; Tue, 08 Apr 2003 01:43:23 -0400 Received: from list by monty-python.gnu.org with tmda-scanned (Exim 4.10.13) id 192lt8-0004DK-00 for mldonkey-bugs@mail.freesoftware.fsf.org; Tue, 08 Apr 2003 01:43:18 -0400 Received: from mail by monty-python.gnu.org with spam-scanned (Exim 4.10.13) id 192lsp-0002zZ-00 for mldonkey-bugs@mail.freesoftware.fsf.org; Tue, 08 Apr 2003 01:43:01 -0400 Received: from subversions.gnu.org ([199.232.41.2]) by monty-python.gnu.org with esmtp (Exim 4.10.13) id 192lsm-0002nz-00 for mldonkey-bugs@mail.freesoftware.fsf.org; Tue, 08 Apr 2003 01:42:56 -0400 Received: from www-data by subversions.gnu.org with local (Exim 3.35 #1 (Debian)) id 192lst-0006I7-00; Tue, 08 Apr 2003 01:43:03 -0400 To: mldonkey-bugs@mail.freesoftware.fsf.org From: nobody@savannah.nongnu.org Message-Id: Date: Tue, 08 Apr 2003 01:43:03 -0400 Subject: [Mldonkey-bugs] [Bug #3153] some user names too long X-BeenThere: mldonkey-bugs@nongnu.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1b5 Precedence: list List-Id: List-Help: List-Post: List-Subscribe: , List-Archive: List-Unsubscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Tue, 08 Apr 2003 05:43:20 -0000 =================== BUG #3153: FULL BUG SNAPSHOT =================== http://savannah.nongnu.org/bugs/?func=detailbug&bug_id=3153&group_id=1409 Submitted by: None Project: mldonkey, a free e-Donkey client Submitted on: Tue 04/08/03 at 01:43 Category: HTTP interface Severity: 5 - Major Bug Group: None Resolution: None Assigned to: None Status: Open Release: Before 1.14 Release: Platform Version: Linux i386-i686 Binaries Origin: Compiled From CVS Summary: some user names too long Original Submission: So, please shorten the user names down to 30 chars. So i opened a socket: The Socket is correct opened, but nothing is given back when I read from it. A manual Telnet-Connection works fine and gives me the LoginMessage correct... Is there any knowen problem or another idea to do this connection?? Thanks! Original Submission: I was downloading the new Matrix Reloaded Trailer using the following torrent http://207.44.142.96/trailer_final_1000_dl.mov.torrent However, I decided to pause the download when it reached 140% completion. Nonetheless, mldonkey didn't stop downloading the file. It is already at 160% downloading at 48 K/s but it will neither finish nor pause. While mldonkey decided its business, I copied the temp/BT-* file elsewhere and launched the original BitTorrent client. It correctly detected that the file was at 97% completion and using only about 25k/s finished the download in less than 4 minutes. I did this copy when the download was at 140%. mldonkey still hasn't stopped, 163% and going. Just a news report. Great work with the BitTorrent plugin. :) No Followups Have Been Posted CC list is empty No files currently attached For detailed info, follow this link: http://savannah.nongnu.org/bugs/?func=detailbug&bug_id=3189&group_id=1409 From MAILER-DAEMON Fri Apr 11 14:23:27 2003 Received: from list by monty-python.gnu.org with archive (Exim 4.10.13) id 1943Ah-0002nE-00 for mharc-mldonkey-bugs@gnu.org; Fri, 11 Apr 2003 14:22:43 -0400 Received: from list by monty-python.gnu.org with tmda-scanned (Exim 4.10.13) id 1943Af-0002jl-00 for mldonkey-bugs@mail.freesoftware.fsf.org; Fri, 11 Apr 2003 14:22:41 -0400 Received: from mail by monty-python.gnu.org with spam-scanned (Exim 4.10.13) id 19439g-0001yi-00 for mldonkey-bugs@mail.freesoftware.fsf.org; Fri, 11 Apr 2003 14:21:41 -0400 Received: from subversions.gnu.org ([199.232.41.2]) by monty-python.gnu.org with esmtp (Exim 4.10.13) id 19439f-0001xX-00 for mldonkey-bugs@mail.freesoftware.fsf.org; Fri, 11 Apr 2003 14:21:39 -0400 Received: from www-data by subversions.gnu.org with local (Exim 3.35 #1 (Debian)) id 19439m-0007uE-00; Fri, 11 Apr 2003 14:21:46 -0400 To: mldonkey-bugs@mail.freesoftware.fsf.org From: nobody@savannah.nongnu.org Message-Id: Date: Fri, 11 Apr 2003 14:21:46 -0400 Subject: [Mldonkey-bugs] [Bug #3192] Feature request: Check integrity of (finished) files X-BeenThere: mldonkey-bugs@nongnu.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1b5 Precedence: list List-Id: List-Help: List-Post: List-Subscribe: , List-Archive: List-Unsubscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Fri, 11 Apr 2003 18:22:42 -0000 =================== BUG #3192: FULL BUG SNAPSHOT =================== http://savannah.nongnu.org/bugs/?func=detailbug&bug_id=3192&group_id=1409 Submitted by: None Project: mldonkey, a free e-Donkey client Submitted on: Fri 04/11/03 at 14:21 Category: Core Severity: 5 - Major Bug Group: None Resolution: None Assigned to: None Status: Open Release: None Release: 2.04rc1-15 Platform Version: Linux i386-i686 Binaries Origin: Compiled From CVS Summary: Feature request: Check integrity of (finished) files Original Submission: Hi, I have the following problem: I finish a file and it is corrupt, but instead of being able to tell mldonkey to redownload the damaged segment, I have to redownload the whole file. My prblem is about mldonkey running in daemon mode, and accessing via a web browser. Almost everything works, expect that I can't view the result of search, because I got: Exception Invalid_argument("out-of-bound array or string access") messages for pressing button "search results". I've download statically linked verion of mldonkey because I'm running it inside a chroot env. Probably this cause the problem but I didn't manage to find the problem. Please reply me in private as well, since I'm not on the list. By: mldonkey Date: Sun 03/10/02 at 22:43 Logged In: NO Browser: Mozilla/4.75 [en] (X11; U; Linux 2.4.17 i686; Nav) On the help page, it still says you can't set uploads under 10K. If a server IP along with a colon seperated port number is specified in the Server IP box, and enter hit, then it gets added. This would make copy/paste from a list of servers lots easier. Saving upstats would be nice, as well as some way of resetting it, to get a better idea of which files to keep shared. The downloads panel is a little busy, and not good for small screens (some people still have to use 640x480) Perhaps move the "save files" to an incoming tab? (which can flash when it's got files in) On the same lines, why not show the filename/details (the one above the colour bar) in a line, with name in one box, size in the next (perhaps with bytes/Mb added), and the format in another, with the colour bar as the last item in the line, taking up the whole width of the client, with the "connections" panel only popping up over the right-hand-side of the screen when a filename is double-clicked (or when show connections is picked from the menu) The MD4 recover might move to the incoming tab, and the ed2k file to below the filename/colourbar line, and automatically change when a new file is clicked, to show the ed2k: link. Maybe the cancel/retry-connect could move to the connections panel? On the search results tab, it would be nice to indicate number of results per file, to give at least an indication of availability. Just some thoughts. The problem is that if the browser sends an Authorization Header in the HTTP request mldonkey will still try to verify if thats correct and of course issue an error saying authorization failed. I'd suggest to just ignore any Authorization headers if no login and/or pass have been set in the mldonkey config and (re)add the config options for http_login and http_password as it obviously was intended to be there. Unfortunately I don't know anything about ocaml. All I could see was that it somehow stores the Authorization header in an options hash or something like that. Original Submission: Hello, thanks for your great work! Using relative refs in the generated HTML would enhance the possibilities to embed the mldonkey web interface into a larger apache setup. If relative refs were used, a single apache ProxyPass directive would be sufficient to access the mldonkey web interface. As it is, the start frame contains requests to path-absolute URLs like e.g. /commands.html, so the following HTTP requests all need separate rewrite rules on their own. And because the web browser assembles complete, absolute paths for the HTTP requests anyway from any relative path it sees in HTML, you wouldn't even have to change the HTTP request parsing code. Just drop the leading slashes from the output ;-) No Followups Have Been Posted CC list is empty No files currently attached For detailed info, follow this link: http://savannah.nongnu.org/bugs/?func=detailbug&bug_id=3296&group_id=1409 From MAILER-DAEMON Mon Apr 21 16:44:04 2003 Received: from list by monty-python.gnu.org with archive (Exim 4.10.13) id 197i8x-0001ML-00 for mharc-mldonkey-bugs@gnu.org; Mon, 21 Apr 2003 16:44:03 -0400 Received: from list by monty-python.gnu.org with tmda-scanned (Exim 4.10.13) id 197i8t-0001Fm-00 for mldonkey-bugs@mail.freesoftware.fsf.org; Mon, 21 Apr 2003 16:43:59 -0400 Received: from mail by monty-python.gnu.org with spam-scanned (Exim 4.10.13) id 197i8I-0000kC-00 for mldonkey-bugs@mail.freesoftware.fsf.org; Mon, 21 Apr 2003 16:43:23 -0400 Received: from subversions.gnu.org ([199.232.41.2]) by monty-python.gnu.org with esmtp (Exim 4.10.13) id 197i8B-0000ad-00 for mldonkey-bugs@mail.freesoftware.fsf.org; Mon, 21 Apr 2003 16:43:15 -0400 Received: from www-data by subversions.gnu.org with local (Exim 3.35 #1 (Debian)) id 197i8G-0003al-00; Mon, 21 Apr 2003 16:43:20 -0400 To: berndkuhls@hotmail.com,mldonkey-bugs@mail.freesoftware.fsf.org From: nobody@savannah.nongnu.org Message-Id: Date: Mon, 21 Apr 2003 16:43:20 -0400 Subject: [Mldonkey-bugs] [Bug #3267] Pb with larges files ? Just drop the leading slashes from the output ;-) Follow-up Comments ******************* ------------------------------------------------------- Date: Tue 04/22/2003 at 07:42 By: tharkun Im all for relative links but in the meantime, I use the following rewrite rules to not have to ProxyPass all URLs myself. This will make mldonkey available in /mldonkey on your apache. The file is bad, the md4 sum and the filename differ. To fix the issue, I deleted all .ini files and recovered temp. After some minutes, all chunks are marked as good, apparently without any actual download and the file is marked for commit again. Trying to debug, I calculated and compared the md4 sums of each chunk by hand and found the same numbers listed in files.ini. The md4 sum of the whole file in files.ini fits the file name and the value I get from a seach in the network, but doesn't fit the actual calculated checksum of the file. Since it's impossible to mark single files or even single chunks for a re-comparison with what's on the network, it's hard to find out what's wrong. "Verify chunks" in the Web GUI doesn't show any sign of activity.
