When a call is setuped, the server will add DNAT and SNAT iptables rules dynamically to do packet manipulation, and it works ok. But when the call is stopped, and after the iptables rules are deleted, the packet manipulation function of the previous call is still enabled, so the following calls which are from/to the same address won't be dealed with properly. We found the UDP sessions of the previos call is still in the ip_conntrack table. Before this sessions were timeout(180s), the iptables would still use this old infomration to manipulate the matched packets. There is no way to clear the ip_conntrack table. So how to avoid this issue, any ideas? Thanks. Hi,

I use 3 PC (1 install partysip proxy, the other 2 PCs install softphone, say A and B) for softphone-A calling
(user name is a) softphone-B(user name is b) thru proxy server.
Both Softphone can register to Proxy server successfully.
I try to use "filter plugin" to reach this goal.
I put

forward   ^sip:2([0-9][0-9][0-9])@|sip:b@wellx.org

in partysip.conf So that once softphone-A dial 2111,  softphone-B will ring.
But it seems not working.
Can Anyone tell me how to reach this goal?

By the way, I am not quite familiar with the format
of filter plugin e.q. what is %1 stand for in sip:%1@192.168.1.109 and (.+) in ([0-9]+)@(.+)

Thanks,

Hi,

I am trying to Connect 2 PartySIP = proxies and=20 trying to make call from 2 UAC through the proxies. We built PartySIP in Windows 2000 Server = environment.
1. How can I setup configuration = to make the=20 authentication between 2 proxy? It means that how can the first proxy = response=20 to the second proxy about user and password when the first receive 407 = response?=20 I see your filter plug-in, but it is not for Win32.

2. I set authentication off on the = second PartySIP. When we make the phone, I recognized that PartySIP never forward ACK and always = silently drop it.=20
I set record-route on and set outbound = proxy in my=20 2 UAC to the 2 proxies.
The process till 180 (Ringing) is OK, = but when we=20 pickup the phone, the 2 UAC cannot exchange ACK through the 2 proxies so = that=20 the call cannot happen.
I already tried to #define = SUPPORT_FOR_BROKEN_UA,=20 but things are the same.
How can I configure our proxies to = resolve=20 this problem?

I attached here my configuration = file

Thank you very much,
Dzung Nguyen

First: partysip should not receive any ACK if record-route is not set. partysip should forward the ACK if record-route is set. SUPPORT_FOR_BROKEN_UA is not supposed to work in any situations... Its behavior is unpredictable... > I attached here my configuration file It would be easier to get the log files from the 2 running partysip. Don't send them to the mailing list.
