This mailing list is for discussions around the LilyPond music engraving program. It is a place for users to help each other.

A mailing list is a special email address that can be used to send emails to a group of people. To post to the list, simply send an email to

lilypond-user@gnu.org

Before posting your first email, please subscribe to the list first. This will prevent your email from being held on moderation. After your are subscribed, you will receive all posts made to the list. (In case you only want to interact with this list from time to time, you may disable mail delivery in your subscription options.)

Subscribing to lilypond-user

To subscribe to lilypond-user, please fill out the following form.

You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator.

    • You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext.

    If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you have confirmed your subscription. You can always request a mail-back of your password when you edit your personal options.
