Since when is tex-site.el in an auctex/ directory?  Anyway, it seems I
still failed to make myself clear.  I suggested to deal with an old
bib-cite.el file only in the directory we are installing into,
i.e. when an existing installation gets overwritten.  I was not
talking about other instances of bib-cite.el outside of this
directory, like from a system installation.
