Hi
Most of the time I use vanilla (latex) pdflatex, but for some documents
I must run xelatex. I know I can switch the engine interactively to
xelax, but I think it would be better to have it set in the list of
local variables at the end of each file.
It would be handy to have a new function, say TeX-add-local-engine,
which does this job the same way TeX-add-local-master adds the master
file to that list. It is trivial to create a new function using
TeX-add-local-master, but is basically repeating 99 % of the code.
Does somebody have a nicer more general idea?
