The expanders for source specials (%dS) are missing.  Can you erase
your customization and try again?

After erasing it you should get the current default which includes
these expanders.  You can then customize the viewers for PDF and HTML
files again.

I wish I had more time for working on the new scheme for viewers
because the stuff I already have does not suffer (so much) from new
defaults being not applied because of existent customizations.
