Hi to all!!!

I am pursuing my discovery of Emacs (after also trying ViM, but I decided that I
prefer Emacs) and it is really great. The AucTeX package is also awesome, even
though I still don't use all its capabilities. Thanks to all those that maintain
AucTeX, like David and Ralf (the only two I know of)!

I have two questions though.

First, I would like to create a "recent files" list in Emacs in Windows. I also
use Aquamacs on my iMac, and there is this option in the menu, which I find
really helpful when I edit many files at the same time. I have seen in my
\library\Preferences folder that there is a "recent files.el" file which is
certainly what I should try to do for Windows. Is there a way to implement it?
And how do I add a menu for this in the "File" directory in emacs (something
like "Open Recent")?

Second, am I french and we, in France use fuc... AZERTy keyboards. Hence, I have
a problem with the keybindings for math expressions like greek letters.
Normally, it is "C-`" but the ` is not really usable for me: I have to hit Alt
GR + 7 twice!
So I decided to change the mapping to "ZZ"; Why ZZ you might ask? Well, I first
tried MM like "Maths" before it dawned on me that I wouldn't be able to write
capital M. Truely, I could capitalize the word later on, but still... Since I
don't plan to begin a phrase with a word beginning by "Z", this is ok. Still, I
am not sure this is really efficient. What do you guys think or do?

Thanks for any feedback!
