| Hi Paul,
|
| I'm afraid we _have_ to return to this debate about default
| reductions. A student of mine reported the following problem.
|
| If you compile the following source from Charles,
Charles-Henri de Boysson is an EPITA student. EPITA is the school I
work at. Unfortunately neither of us can work on Bison currently: my
(Computer Science!) school still cannot provide us with CVS access to
the rest of the world. As a result, we have to stop our ongoing work
on Bison, which includes:
- BackTracking LALR by Charles-Henri de Boysson
- Improvement of the conflict reports by Sébastien Martini, and Bruno Klawatsch
- Java output by Sébastien Serrurier
- C++ output by Robert Anisko
- fixing the various bugs we exhibit.
The lack of access to the Internet is also why EPITA did not make the
long awaited 1.50 release: Paul Eggert kindly did.
I hope that in the near future a solution can be worked out. If not,
maybe Bison should return to Berkeley...
