Please try installing Sun patch 111678-14; it is recommended by Sun
and seems to be relevant to your problem.

While you're at it, you might check whether you've installed all the
other patches currently recommended by Sun for your operating system
and development environment.  For example, the currently recommended
SunOS 5.8 linker patch is 109147-21, which is much newer than your
109147-14, and this might be relevant.  Another example is that Sun
currently recommends 111679-09 for the Forte Developer 6 Update 2 C
front end, but you have the older 111679-07 patch installed.
