It sounds like this was a temporary problem, so you might want to run the
test suite again to see if the failures are consistent.
In any case, I cannot be of much help debugging cygwin issues. The cygwin
mailing list might be more helpful. Let us know if they are convinced the
problem is not specific to cygwin.
