I wouldn't worry about the new problem, as that's
to be expected if one patches Bison and then tries
to build without having the proper developer tools.

This is distinguishable from the earlier case reported in
<http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/bug-bison/2009-02/msg00008.html>
as that earlier case apparently didn't involve patching Bison.
