Thanks for the report.  However, the latest coreutils release is 5.93.
Could you please download that, and see if your bug was fixed?  Also, if
the newer testsuite reports a failure, it would be useful if you ran "make
- -k check" to get all failures, rather than stopping at the first failed
test; and the directions in coreutils-5.93/README give some more
instructions about how to provide useful test failure results to this list.
