If you take the time to build/test, it'd be nice to let me or the list
know, even if it's just to say that everything went fine.  For all I know
(I rarely look at the web logs, and there's been almost no feedback),
no one even looks at the snapshots.  If there's no interest, then
I'll stop providing them.  Actually, that wouldn't be too surprising,
since the process of checking out the code and running "./bootstrap &&
./configure && make && make dist" probably works fine for most people
who try, these days.

I, at least, appreciate them (although I admit I haven't tried the cvs thing on coreutils yet). I might appreciate them more if the one with the timestamp had a name that didn't confuse tar. :-)

I'm going to give AIX another run, since I ran into problems last time.
