This has now been implemented and pushed. Try playing with it a bit and see whether it's annoying or not. If it's annoying, we'll do something else... To test: (insert-image (create-image "~/src/emacs/trunk/etc/images/gnus/gnus.png")) and use the - + r o commands on the image. Which reminds me: the `o' command doesn't really know what the image format is, so it'll allow saving a png as foo.tiff. It would be nice if we could guide the user here.
