Then we have to dig deeper. For this purpose please proceed as follows
with emacs -Q:
(1) Evaluate the form (setq frame-size-history '(100))
(2) Switch to another virtual desktop and back.
(3) Do C-g or whatever you need to make that frame accessible
(4) Evaluate the form (frame--size-history)
(5) Post the contents of the buffer named *frame-size-history* here
