In my emacs this evaluates to t, while it’s nil under emacs -Q

>  calendar-holidays

This is more interesting, under emacs -Q, with holidays evaluating to nil, opening calendar doesn’t show any

holidays (with the red number), but going on the day and pressing h does show you the corresponding default holiday

in the echo area. If I do (require ‘holidays), both on my config and on emacs -Q I get

Error (holidays): Bad holiday list item: (holiday-fixed 1 1 New Year's Day)

Error: (void-variable displayed-month)

For all default holidays (mine don’t show at all).
