I am adding a unit test for the 'unicodeio' module (see below). It contains
a test for the C locale, and this test works fine on Solaris 11.3.
Therefore I have to ask Kiyoshi two questions:
1) What is the output of the program 'locale'?
$ locale
2) What are the link dependencies of the coreutils printf program?
$ ldd $coreutilsbin/printf
