Hi,
You might remember me from October when I couldn't get Gnash working with
the 3.0.3 release:
http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/bug-gnuzilla/2008-10/threads.html#00012
I've tried the 3.0.4 release, and Gnash still isn't working, but the error
message is different this time. When I started IceCat for the first time,
it asked if I wanted to install Gnash. I said yes, and everything seemed to
work. But, each time I start IceCat, I get a dialog box:
[Javascript application]
Environment variables are not set properly, the gnash plugin will not work
correctly. Reboot the browser to correct this problem.
And Gnash isn't working :-/
(Just as a reminder: I "installed" IceCat by simply downloading the tarball,
unpacking it, and running the binary ~/local-stuff/icecat-3.0.4-g1/icecat )
This isn't a big inconvenience for me, but if I can test anything to help
this get fixed, just let me know and I'm happy to be able to help.
