The fix for this seems straightforward, but rendering of me(7) documents to
HTML seems pretty subpar.
meref.me gives the package a good deal of exercise and reveals several
problems.
Putting a footnote marker in a section heading confuses the output all to
hell. I guess a "devtag" is required for this sort of thing.
But for the instant issue, defining `@b` as an empty string when formatting
for HTML seems to do the trick.
