[bug #65095] gropdf, hdtbl: files "fonts_{n,x}.pdf" almost empty

Follow-up Comment #1, bug#65095 (group groff):

I used this command:-

./test-groff -Tpdf -mhdtbl -U -dfontpath=font/ -dsopath=../contrib/hdtbl/ 
contrib/hdtbl/examples/fonts_x.roff

In the build directory. Seems to work. (I'm using the deri-gropdf-ng branch,
don't know about 1.23.0)
