Hi, I've read the list of the rejected feature requests and I believe my feature request does not fit exactly in any of those listed, although there might be some similarities with some of those. Anyway, the feature I would find helpful in the "chmod" tool would be two new options, "-d" and "-f" which would make chmod apply specified modes to directories only (-d) or files only (-f). The similarity with the already existing rejected feature exists and the reason for the rejection was " `find` with `chmod` was deemed sufficient". Although I agree it can be done using a workaround, I believe it would not take a lot of time to implement such features, but it would definitely make the tool more powerful and intuitive. The solution with the "find" tool is difficult to remember due to its syntax and adding just simple options (-d and -f) for this feature would definitely make the syntax more convenient and easy to remember. Please reconsider implementing such a functionality if possible. Whatever you decide to do, thank you for taking your time to read this feature request. Also thank you a lot for your effort so far. We, users, really appreciate it. Regards, Mladen.
