I've been working on adding elisp primitives for SSL/TLS connections
(using the GPL'd NSS-library) yesterday, and I've got some basic
functionality.
The code should be cleaned up considerably, but I'd might as well see
if anyone here got any opinions on the elisp API first. A low-level
mapping of the NSS C-interface? A high-level application oriented
API? I dunno.

Q: Why is this useful?
A: SSL is often used with NNTP and IMAP (which Gnus implement) and
HTTP (which W3 implement), so Gnus- and W3-users might benefit from
this.
