I was referring to Daniel's suggestion to make M-- M-SPC act like I
(or Xah) had suggested. M-- M-SPC currently does nothing different
than only M-SPC and is thus "unused".

I'm afraid I don't follow. AFAICS, the change doesn't have to do with
visual lines at all.
