pretest emacs hangs in C/C++ code

Please describe exactly what actions triggered the bug
and the precise symptoms of the bug:


I captured here a backtrace with (kill -SIGSTOP) of a hanging pretest
emacs "21.2.93". The problem occurs not rarely on Solaris 8 by editing
of C/C++ code. I know it's really vague but the problem seems to be
intermittent. Personally, I think the impact to the user is
significant.
