several bugs in latest emacs 21.3 from cvs

Symptoms:

1. there is bug with icomplete-mode. Whe I press M-x and letter
(for example 'a'), sometimes there is list of completions, and
sometimes there isn't. When there is no completions, I cannot enter
more than one letter. This bug ocurs very often.

2. Some oort gnus related things(may be bugs in gnus)?

I have some color highlihgtning in 'Group' frame.
When I use oort gnus 0.16 from cvs and select some group in that
frame , all color highlitning is lost. The same gnus with emacs 21.2
works just fine. Bug is 100% reproducible here.

'*' key in summary buffer doesn't doeswhat it should (gnus-cache-enter-article).
It works fine with same gnus in emacs 21.2

3. Gtk scrollbar issue:

In gtk version, after every keypress, scrollbar refreshes,
it makes editing very slow. Is that gtk2 misfeature?

4. pasting of cyrillic letters to xterm with mouse works fine, but
cyrillic letters does not pasted to multi-gnome-terminal,
that's strange, cause pasting from any other application
(for example emacs 21.2) to multi-gnome-terminal works.

5. Pasting of cyrillic letters to emacs doesn't works right
for any application:
