The documentation for cperl-nonoverridable-face is cperl-mode.el says this:
"Font Lock mode face used to highlight array names."
It's the same as the documentation for cperl-array-face.
It looks like a copy-and-paste job gone wrong.
cperl-nonoverridable-face isn't used to highlight array names - it is
used to highlight nonoverwritable builtins.
In GNU Emacs 21.3.50.1 (i386-mingw-nt5.1.2600)
of 2003-04-22 on CHRISLAP
configured using `configure --with-gcc (3.2)'
Chris.
