Not for the vfork call in callproc.c.  For the one in process.c, it
seems that the addition of BLOCK_INPUT corresponds to the following

        * Makefile.in (process.o): Depend on blockinput.h.

        * process.c: Include blockinput.h.
        (create_process): Block input around the fork.
