Seeing [bootstrap-emacs] Aborted and [bootstrap-build] Error 2 on CVS 11/16/2004 build

I'm still getting "[bootstrap-emacs] Aborted" and "[bootstrap-build] Error 2" 
while
building a CVS 11/16/2004 snapshot on GNU/Linux. 

These are the same bootstrap errors I reported previously under the subject
"keyboard.o and bootstrap errors on Nov 11, 2004 CVS snapshot, Andrew M. Scott"

I suspect the problem is related to the recent top-level Makefile tweaks for 
"bootstrap-build, bootfast, etc."

I'm not very skilled in debugging Makefile errors. I'd be happy to try any 
debug suggestions.
