    Using either

           M-x find-file RET RET

           C-x C-f RET

    , under 21.3 the original file would be reloaded, as if 

       (revert-buffer buffer-file-name t t)

    had been entered.  Under 22.0.50, the default find-file-read-args
    prompt is set to the buffer's current working directory, and when RET
    is pressed, that directory is loaded in dired.

ISTR this was a deliberate change.
It is not documented in etc/NEWS, but I guess it should be.
