Hi, the recent changes to the clipboard handling routines (on OS X)
left me struggling to get back to normal behavior.
What point is different from "normal behavior" do you think when
mouse-sel is not used?
The problems (below) go away if mouse-sel is not used, yet I cannot get
it to not copy the region into the clipboard (killring) when some
region is selected.
(setq mouse-sel-default-bindings 'interprogram-cut-paste)
(lambda (selection value)
(if (eq selection 'PRIMARY)
(x-set-selection selection value))))
(defalias 'x-cut-buffer-or-selection-value 'x-get-selection-value)
Doesn't work, sorry. The same problem occurs: copy text into clipboard
in ext. application, then select a region, then paste -> some previous
clipboard text is inserted, not the one I want to copy.
Thanks for the patch, will check it out.
