Then, in the same directory, I: touch testemrmy.m
And now when I invoke the same script, hi doesn't get echoed. The
script never gets sourced.
It does not fail for me, so I think you need to debug it.
I don't know any reason why emacs would look for a file whose
name ends in .m for executing a script.
