I know, but I'm currently pretty clueless about where the problem is
coming from. Currently I can only describe it as a "random failure".
Can you make it fail over and over once it starts failing?
So, two (multipart) questions:
(1) Any suggestions about how to lessen the degrees of freedom?
Should I edebug `edebug-defun'?
It seems risky to use edebug to debug itself.
I would suggest using lower-level techniques.
