completion in find-file

Hi,

I noticed that in the latest build (from cvs), when issueing the
find-file command (C-x C-f), the SPC does not any longer trigger
filename completion, as it used to be. Is this deliberately changed? If
so, is there a way to customize it and get back the old behaviour? I
know i can start completion with the TAB key also, but hitting the
spacebar became such a habit that it will probably take me years to get
out of it....
