  I don't know how this bug can be worked around.

(setq command-history nil)

Then M-x foo M-x bar M-x baz
Then C-h v command-history

  If some code output command-history with prin1 then try to load it
  back, the # things will cause parse errors.

  This bug occurs to me when I:
  - Use bbdb-create, and add a new buddy,
  - Quit Emacs and launch it again, with savehist-mode enabled.
