Please describe exactly what actions triggered the bug
and the precise symptoms of the bug:
Documentation bug: The sorting operations in the Emacs manual (node
"Sorting") and in the Emacs list manual (node "Sorting") state nothing
about the stability of the sort.
In GNU Emacs 22.0.91.3 (i686-pc-linux-gnu, X toolkit)
