I believe that what happened was that the Backup/ directory was
created as it should have been, and then the dovecot mail server
program renamed it later.  I've not had this problem anywhere other
than when editing files inside ~/Maildir/ , which is the dovecot
server's domain.

I think we can safely ignore this 'bug'.
