Oh that's much clearer!  Wait a minute that, that would mean it should
be called return-window-lru.

How about:

"Get the least recently used (selected) window for display."

However, as Glenn says, perhaps we should continue this thread on 1st April.

Do you know what car or cdr stand for?  If not, has it stopped you from using
them?
