What is gdb-mode? gud-mode?
In any case, viper-auto-indent is off by default, and all it does is
defining two keys, C-m and C-j. More likely it is a problem with gdm mode,
but to be sure I need to see the exact sequence of steps. The above gives
almost no info to help with finding where the problem might be.
