[unicode-2] build failure "temacs: Command not found"

Hi,

compilation of Emacs Unicode-2 fails under FreeBSD on Sparc (also
sometimes under GNU/Linux on x86, for parallel make -j5) with the
error message "temacs: Command not found".

Below I include the configuration, the tail of the build log, and a
patch that should fix the problem.
