These would be great candidates for the groff-examples repository that
I keep trying to trick someone into creating and maintaining
(http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/groff/2021-05/msg00059.html). So
far no one has fallen for it.
A first cut might not even have to be anything more complicated than a
page containing a list of descriptions of each macro's functionality
and a pointer to the mailing-list post that contains it. There are a
couple dozen good ones in the list archives.
