I see the .pfb is the TTF converted to PS1 format while `EMOJI` holds
the actual mapping.

I installed fonts in $XDG_DATA_HOME/groff/font rather than on system
directory. I only got a lot of

    ~/.local/share/groff/font/devpdf/EMOJI:0: error: invalid input
character code '13'

due to line endings, once I removed the ^M I was able to compile `d.trf`.

Side question: why `.trf` extension?

I see, and none of those have emoji extension, right?
