Yes. It does not change management of the list thru Mailman at
all.
It permit to modify some settings directly but it does not prevent
settings from being changed via the usual Mailman Administrative
interface.
Does "attach" work with a list that is implemented as an alias
and not managed through Mailman?
If not, what would I do to add such a mailing list to this page?

the case of a list that is an alias.
