I do not think that will happen in a near future, since there's only lynx,
unmaintained software, that suffer from that.

Like SourceForge, you have opted to put the side-bar
on the left. In non-table compliant browsers (and in
the HTML source itself (well, the output from PHP)),
this puts the information common to most pages at the
top and the main information of interest somewhere near
the bottom of the page. If you could move this sidebar
to the right-hand side, it would show up after the more
important (page-specific) information. This would have
great benefits for people who must use screen-readers
and the like in order to get information from the web.
