Details:

Started approximately on 2021-12-23, at every "git push" and "git pull" to a
repository on git.sv.gnu.org, over an ssh:// URL, I get these warnings:

perl: warning: Setting locale failed.
perl: warning: Please check that your locale settings:
        LANGUAGE = (unset),
        LC_ALL = (unset),
        LANG = "de_DE.UTF-8"
    are supported and installed on your system.
perl: warning: Falling back to the standard locale ("C").

On my system, the locale de_DE.UTF-8 is installed. The origin of the problem
is therefore apparently that the locale "de_DE.UTF-8" is not present on the
server.

Would it be possible to add it (and the locales for most languages, as
supported by glibc)?
