Oops, looks like a misunderstanding. I've committed the fix to the CVS
archive of Tramp. It is not contained in Tramp 2.0.14, the last
release published by Kai some days ago.

If you want to apply the fix you need to get tramp.el from the CVS archive.
Instructions how to do it are in the Tramp info pages. If you don't
have direct access, you can download the fixed tramp.el directly with
<http://savannah.gnu.org/cgi-bin/viewcvs/*checkout*/tramp/tramp/lisp/tramp.el?rev=2.186>
