Problem building tramp from CVS

I haven't updated and built for a while.

I just tried building again, using autoconf to generate a configure script

       make clean
       cvs -z3 update -dAP

I get the following error:

| emacs -batch --eval "(add-to-list 'load-path \".\")"  -f batch-byte-compile  
| While compiling toplevel forms in file 
|   ** reference to free variable unused-vars
|   !! Wrong type argument ((symbolp (quote sym)))
| Done
| make[1]: *** [tramp.elc] Error 1

Is this a problem?
