I know this is not tramp related but after install of e.23, I get
---------------------------
Emacsclient ERROR
---------------------------
C:\Program Files\Emacs\emacs\bin\emacsclientw.exe: No socket or alternate
editor. Please use:
--server-file (or environment variable EMACS_SERVER_FILE)
--alternate-editor (or environment variable ALTERNATE_EDITOR)
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------
if I try to start emacs, I get
---------------------------
Emacsclient ERROR
---------------------------
C:\Program Files\Emacs\emacs\bin\emacsclientw.exe: file name or argument
required
Try `C:\Program Files\Emacs\emacs\bin\emacsclientw.exe --help' for more
information
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------
googling for solutions indicates something about fixing %HOME% bleck. maybe
I'll do it while watching trash SF tonight.
